Breach Response Desk ("we," "us") publishes step-by-step guides for responding to data breaches and identity theft, along with free downloadable checklists. This page explains what information is collected from visitors to getleadsnap.space.

An important note about your breach information

This site does not ask for, collect, or store any details about your specific breach, your accounts, your Social Security number, or any other personal identifying information. Our downloadable checklists (case-file trackers, timelines) are blank templates you fill in and keep on your own device — we never see what you write in them. There is no account, no login, and no upload feature.

What we collect from visitors

The site does not require an email address to download any resource. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data for every visit — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and reliability purposes. We do not currently run a third-party analytics service; if that changes, this policy will be updated to name the service and describe what it collects.

Cookies and advertising

The site does not currently run advertising. If we begin showing ads through Google AdSense, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Visitors can review and adjust this at Google Ads Settings, and can opt out of personalized advertising from participating companies at the Digital Advertising Alliance.

The accountant lead sample

This site also offers a free sample list of accounting firms as a downloadable CSV. That file contains publicly available business contact information (company name, city, phone, website) — not personal data about individuals — sourced from our business database.

Third-party links

Guides link to official sources such as the FTC's IdentityTheft.gov, the CFPB, the SSA and the IRS. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience consumer resource and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If how we handle visitor data changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
